Many Japanese think patience is a virtue.

Many Japanese believe that patience is a good thing. No matter how hard it is,  you must not run away from it. That is the Japanese way of thinking.

Japanese students hold back on what they want to do in order to pass exams. Those who work for a company continue to work, even if it is hard to work, in order to support their families and protect their social status.

However, I disagree with the idea that patience is a virtue in Japan.

This is because if you keep up with painful things, you will physically ill and have a negative impact on your mind. In fact, many Japanese people are getting sick and depressed. Some people have committed suicide as a result of putting up with so much pain. It's obviously an anomaly.

Certainly, it takes a certain amount of patience to get things done. Running away from everything, you will not be able to do what you want to do.

However, the Japanese are too patient. They don't have to put up with a lot of physical discomfort. If they find it hard, they should take a break or run away.

Japanese people think that taking a break is a bad thing. As long as they don't change this way of thinking, they will still be physically sick and mentally ill.

Japanese people need to take more breaks. By not being patient and taking a break, they can reach their full potential.
